The restaging of Napoli (1842) by Lars Van Cauwenbergh for Sao Paulo Dance Company brings to the stage the Pas de Six, which is part of the third act of the choreography, where the wedding of Teresina, a beautiful young woman courted in the city, and Gennaro, a young fisherman whom she loves, takes place. The work is a three-act ballet, with original choreography by August Bournonville (1805-1879), created for the Royal Ballet of Denmark.
