Artistic and Educational

Inês Bogéa

Inês Bogéa holds a PhD in Arts and is currently a postdoctoral researcher, working at the intersection of dance, education, and cultural management. A dancer, documentary filmmaker, writer, speaker, and professor, she is recognized as a multifaceted leader in dance and education, with extensive experience in the management, creation, and implementation of impactful cultural, social, and educational projects.

Since 2008, she has served as Artistic Director of the São Paulo Dance Company, founded by the Government of the State of São Paulo, where she has directed more than 1,400 performances in 22 countries. Since 2021, she has also been the Artistic and Educational Director of the São Paulo Dance School, distinguished by its focus on social inclusion and the training of over 1,300 students annually.

She is the Artistic Director of the São Paulo International Dance Showcase (MID-SP), organized by Associação Pró-Dança in partnership with Itaú Cultural, and has led initiatives such as the Dance for Educators program at Sesc-SP.

She is also a regular contributor to publications such as Revista CONCERTO, where she co-created the column “Dance in Dialogue.”

In academia, she teaches at the University of São Paulo (USP) and at the Regional University of Blumenau (FURB).

Throughout her career, she has received the Tarsila do Amaral Medal, awarded by the Government of the State of São Paulo for her artistic contribution, was featured in Critic’s Choice of Dance Europe, and was honored with the title of Chevalière de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture.

Co-Artistic Direction

Milton Coatti

Milton Coatti is a teacher, rehearsal director, dancer, choreographer, and co-artistic director of the São Paulo Dance Company since April 2025. He began his studies in 1997 with Nilson Rodrigues and, as a dancer, was a member of the companies Maurício de Oliveira e Siameses, J. Garcia, Cia. de Danças de Diadema, the Balé da Cidade de São Paulo, and the São Paulo Dance Company itself. At this institution, from 2014 onward, he worked as a teacher and rehearsal director and, in 2019, became rehearsal team manager.

He has also worked as an independent artist, creating the solo Alguém para Chamar de Meu Bem for the project O Masculino na Dança, at the Centro Cultural São Paulo. He has performed works from the classical repertoire as well as contemporary creations by important Brazilian and international choreographers, such as Henrique Rodovalho, Rodrigo Pederneiras, Luís Arrieta, Itzik Galili, Alessio Silvestrin, Nacho Duato, and Jiří Kylián. He has taught and conducted workshops in Brazil and in several countries across Europe, South America, and the Middle East, and has also served as a juror at national and international festivals.

In 2018, he choreographed Mira, a virtual reality (VR 360°) work for the São Paulo Dance Company; the romantic act Schumann ou Os Amores do Poeta, in partnership between the Theatro São Pedro and the São Paulo Dance Company; as well as the dance film Nuvens and the piece Paixões Brasileiras, created especially for the company’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, held in 2021.

Pétrick Pontes

He is a lawyer, postgraduate and Master in Law from PUC/SP (Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo). He is a graduate student in Management of Social Projects in Third Sector Organizations at PUC/SP. He has worked for more than 15 years in representing and advising qualified entities such as Social Organizations of Culture, Foundations and other Civil Society Organizations, covering strategic issues such as: immunities, exemptions and non-tax incidences, participation in public calls and selections, direct hiring, negotiation of administrative contracts, agreements, management contracts, analysis of the entities’ sources of income and the legal means available to enforce and protect them, sponsorships, rendering of accounts, copyright issues, contracts with suppliers of goods and services various, among others. He is also technical director of ABRAOSC (Brazilian Association of Social Organizations of Culture).
