Born in Divinópolis (Minas Gerais), Nathan Fernandes began his training at Studio Arte Dança, graduating in 2019 — the same year he was recognized as a finalist at the prestigious Prix de Lausanne in Switzerland. Between 2021 and 2023, he was a soloist with Dance Alive National Ballet (USA), where he performed iconic roles such as Basilio (Don Quixote) and Ali (Le Corsaire), as well as solo roles in creations by Heinz Spoerli and Lucas Pierret.
In 2023, he held the position of soloist at the Perm Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (Russia), named after P. I. Tchaikovsky. His extensive repertoire includes leading roles in classical ballets such as La Sylphide, La Bayadère, and Le Spectre de la Rose, as well as contemporary works by choreographers such as Alexei Miroshnichenko and Slava Samodurov. He has been awarded prizes at competitions such as the Joinville Dance Festival and Passo de Arte. In 2026, he joins the São Paulo Dance Company.
